EVENT

In the seventh year since its inception,MobilityTech has been restructured and is back with a new, completely original format:

  • a preview in Naples, MobilityTech MED - Castel dell’Ovo, 11th and 12th June 2012,so excellences and experiences can be shared amongst the various Italian territories, followed by the consolidated edition in Milan – Palazzo Giureconsulti, 22th and 23th October 2012;

  • Electric Cities: systems and vehicles for mobility and transport, public and individual, which will comapre experts from Industry, Public Administration, of the Merchants and Business Research;

  • the theme Ava – Town: digital city, city of sustainability,which will transform the MobilityTech venues into simulations of a digital and sustainable city, unfolding through specifically themed areas, will concretely demonstrate how much technology can assist in sustainable development;

  • the first edition of the Hackathon of mobilitya brand new event in the Italian panorama that involves leading computer programming experts challenging each other to design useful IT solutions for society.

The outdoor exhibition area will also be showcased: like always, it will stage a display of low- or zero-environmental-impact vehicles and will be connected to the event venue via a virtual route.

The 2012 MobilityTech conference represents a unique opportunity for industry businesses to meet with public authorities and to show professionals the latest technological innovations relating to mobility in its broadest sense and to the development of a digital city. From a cultural perspective, the event will offer participants well-structured opportunities for debate and systematic examination, focused on industry developments to give a detailed picture of today’s technological, regulatory, and industrial advances.
