The newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore and Il Sole 24 Ore Transport fortnightly in collaborations with MOBILITYTECH
At the forthcoming MOBILITYTECH, the International Forum on technology innovation for the development of mobility and transport, Milan on 18TH and 19TH October , Gruppo 24 ORE in collaborations with Il Sole 24 Ore and Il Sole 24 ORE fortnightly will issue the Special MOBILITYTECH 2010, which also addresses the key issue of sustainable mobility.
The newspaper will publish the special to coincide with the start of the Forum, while Il Sole 24 Ore Transport anticipate some of the content in September.
This initiative is inspired by 5th edition of MobilityTech, sponsored by the City of Milan together with the European Commission Representation in Milan and ATM Milan (Public Transport Milan). As in the previous four editions - MobilityTech is a relevant meeting opportunity between the Public Administration officers, experts of the sector and spatial planning professionals to discuss and share opinions on issues related to the mobility sector and to understand how technological innovation can contribute to achieve sustainable development and to meet citizens’ needs. In this edition attempts to give concrete answers and efficient on an issue that in recent months has become increasingly heard not only from the community of Milan and Lombardy. Mobility is a complex universe in which components and variables come into play very articulated: research, industry, supranational rules, but also the action of governments, administrations and local authorities, the choices' s address the transport system, design and programming in the territory of the flows.
